The evaluations
conducted by the partner NGOs on completion of each circle
found that 60% of the participants considered the method `very
good’ and appropriate for learning, 32% of the participants
considered it as `good’, 6% of the participants considered
it as a `sensible’ method and 2% considered it as a
`poor’ method. Another question on the usefulness of
citizen’s participation in the dialogue process, in
the context of Bangladesh, saw 60% of the participants feel
that the method is `very good’ for the dialogue process;
35% considered it as a `good’ method; whereas 4% of
the participants felt that it is a ‘sensible’
or moderate method for the dialogue process and only 1% of
the participants considered it ‘poor’. The participant
also believed that the method can help the citizens for self-development
and empowerment. In this context 43% of the participants considered
the method as `very good’; 44% felt `good’; 12%
considered it as `moderately good’ and only 1% felt
that the method was `poor’ for self-development and
citizen empowerment. |
