Md. Abdul Momen is the Program Manager for the Study Circles Program, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs; Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr. Momen joined the Institute in February 2001. Mr. Momen worked as a Training Coordinator, NDI Polling Agent Training Program for the 2001 Parliamentary elections. He was also the Director (Field), for the Study Circles program pilot phase. Under the direction of NDI Resident Director, he is responsible for over all coordination, management and implementation of the program, management of training program, leading and guiding four member study circle team and liaise with NGOs implementing program. Prior to take up assignment of NDI, Mr. Momen worked in the government and non-government organization various capacities and held senior position. He also worked with the Asia Center, Commonwealth Secretariat, London as Program Officer and DFID/WB program as Adhoc Technical Adviser under DFID/WB to evaluate project on employment and income generation submitted by NGOs.
